45 students selected across schools in the Damongo Constituency have been invited by the the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Damongo Constituency and Minister for Lands and Natural Resources Hon Samuel Abu Jinapor to embark on a visit to Ghana’s Parliament house.

The students who were selected from the various schools through quiz competitions conducted in their schools include students from 3 Senior High Schools in Damongo and also some students drawn from the Basic and Junior High Schools in the constituency.

The coordinator of the office of MP for the Damongo Constituency, Mr Bawa Fusheini a.k.a Capacity disclosed that the students will embark on the journey to Accra on Tuesday 15th March 2022 with some five teachers leading them.

He said the students will have the opportunity to witness for the first time parliamentary proceedings and also visit the office of the MP for the Damongo Constituencyin Accra as well as some places of interest in Accra.

He indicated further that the students will later have a get-together with the MP.

He said these are all measures to motivate the students in the constituency to learn and also have first hand information about parliamentary proceedings.

Mr Bawa Fusheini disclosed further that the visit is going to be an annual one which will see students visiting Accra every year.
