Khadi4TheAged, a not-for-profit non governmental organisation working for the welfare and empowerment of older persons in Ghana has presented packages of food items to some aged vulnerable women and men in some parts of Ghana.
The Khadi4TheAged team in Ghana were in the in the Savannah Region where they visited Mankuma in Bole District, Jentilpe in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District, Soalepe and some suburbs of the Damongo township in the West Gonja Municipality.
The team also visited parts of the Tamale Metropolis of the Northern Region and Techiman Municipality of the Bono East Region.
The team randomly identified some of the aged and treated them with with wholesome Christmas & New Year Packages, putting smiles on their faces.
The beneficiaries praised the foundation for the kind donation especially at this festive time of the year when everyone is having merry making except they the vulnerable.
They commended the Founder of the NGO Miss Khadija Sofo a Native of Damongo but resident in the USA of setting up her NGO to cater for the interest of the aged Vulnerables.
Oftentimes, we are neglected, we are forgotten and we are branded with all forms of names, but God have always been our protector and savior”; One of them said.
The NGO, Khadi4TheAged has expressed its desire to take extreme interest in making sure that, all aged lives benefiting lives with dignity. After all, but for death, everyone will grow old.
