The Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yapei Kusawgu Constituency, Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor has as part of his usual commitment to helping prepare final year students adequately for their BECE exams released a sum of nine thousand Ghana cedis (Ghc9000) to the Central Gonja District Education Directorate to organise a mock examination candidates in his constituency (District).

In all, a total of 1,080 BECE candidates in the constituency are to benefit from this examination, which is fully funded by the Honourable MP.

The National Democratic Congress (NDC) Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency Secretary, Mr Latif lddi Atingpo l in a short ceremony at the office of the district education director on 6th Octobe, 2021, presented the cash amount of GHc9,000.00 to the district education Director for the mock exams on behalf of the MP Hon. John Abdulai Jinapor.

The Secretary on behalf of the MP said this kind gesture formed part of the MP’s quest to improve academic performance in schools in the district and assured the MP’s commitment to sustain the sponsorship.

Mr Latif lddi Atingpo entreated the pupils to do away with fear and concentrate on their books so as to come out successfully after the BECE exams.

The District Director of Education, Mrs Veronica Tampour-Kuupol who received the support commended the Hon MP for sponsoring such an important exercise that will promote the quality of education delivery in the district.

The District Director of Education added that, this support came at the right time and it is one of the numerous supports her outfit has received from the Honourable MP.

She added that, this kind gesture would go a long way to help the pupils overcome fear and panic during exams.

The Assemblyman for Buipe electoral area, Hon. Abdulai Baaki has aslo commended the MP for that wonderful support.

The District exam officer, Mr. Braimah Wurpe who couldn’t hide his joy said, Hon. John Jinapor is God sent. He always come to our aid anytime we put out a request. May God continue to bless him for that kind gesture.
