The Friend’s Maternity Home and Clinic at Sawla in the Sawla-Tuna-Kalba District of the Savannah Region has as part of the it’s support to the Sawla Children’s Home to take part in the Christmas celebration donated some items to the Home at the Annual Get together of the Clinic on 27th December, 2020

The donation made on behalf of the Sawla Maternity clinic by the Founder Kansawurche Veronica Ajara Bukari include five crates of soft drinks, three packs of tissues, hand sanitizers, dresses, bags, sandals and biscuits.

Kansawurche Ajara urged the children to take good care of themselves and prepare for their future. She said this is the fifth year she has made donations to the home but has actually worked with the children’s home for about sixteen years.

According to Kansawurche Ajara COVID-19 is real so the children should abide by the safety protocols by using Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s), not shaking hands and observing social and physical distancing”.

The Manager of the Sawla Children’s Home Pastor Emmanuel thanked Friend’s Maternity Home for their commitment and dedication to the Sawla Childrens home. She said Kansawurche Ajara has been so helpful to them for many years and they appreciate every support she has extended to them.

Pastor Emmanuel said a number of institutions, organisation, philanthropists and individuals have supported them in one way or the other but they still seek for more to take good care of Children.

Also at the Friends Maternity annual get together party, citations and awards were given to workers of the for their dedication, punctuality, commitment and enthusiasm towards work.

Addressing the workers, Kansawurche Ajara said she has not been for stable for two years but work at the Sawla Maternity Home and Clinic has been going on smoothly without difficulties and hindrances.
