The Chief of Yapei in the Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region, Yapeiwura Alhassan Soale has expressed his heartfelt gratitude to the Member of Parliament (MP) for the Yapei-Kusawgu Constituency of the Savannah Region Hon John Abudulai Jinapor for providing the community with an Ultramodern 12 Seater Water Closet Toilet Facilty at Yapei.

The Yapei Chief praised the MP and said; “if not you who else can perform this miracle”.

The Yapeiwura said the toilet facility is the first of its kind since in the Community independence and no amount of words can express his level of appreciation. “It’s only God who can pay you for this golden gift”; he said.

The Chief of Yapei made these comments on 22nd May, 2020 when the MP for Yapei- Kusawgu constituency Hon. John Abudulai Jinapor commissioned the ultramodern 12 seater Toilet facility for the people of Yapei that he ssid will “reduce the rate of open defecation and also prevent people from contacting diseases and ailments through the enhancing good hygiene”.

At a brief Ceremony at the Yapeiwura’s Palace, the MP encouraged the people of Yapei to take charge of the facility and institute effective mechanisms that will better position the facility to be in operation for a long foreseeable future period.

The MP also pledged to always be at the service of his constituents.

The President of Yapei Youth Association Alhassan Daboli Asimiwu, the Assemblyman for Yapei Electoral Area Hon Iddi Kamil, Opinion leaders, youth and women groups extended their profound gratitude to Hon MP for that kind gesture.

In a related development, the Yapei-Kusawgu MP inspected two school projects in the Yapei township which has received a facelift through his intervention.

The MP after the Yapei his visit to Yaipei took time out of his busy schedules to inspect similar projects of ultramodern 12 seater Toilet facilities springing up at Kusawgu and Sankpala communities in the Yapei- Kusawgu constituency or Central Gonja District of the Savannah Region.

The MP is expected to continue with his working visit to the Tuluwe Traditional Area today where he will inspect a school project which was constructed by him at a village called Seidu-pe and and also inspect school furniture presented to 3 communities, Yala, Kpalang-ase and Seidu-pe in the Tuluwe Traditional area.
