The Franciscan Missionaries of Mary have donated Personal Protective Equipments (PPE’s) to the Martyrs of Uganda Catholic Catholic Health Centre in Bole today 18th May, 2020.

The Francisca Missionaries of Mary is a Roman Catholic religious institute founded by Mother Mary of the Passion. The Missionaries form an international religious congregation  of women representing 79 ationalities spread over 74 countries on five continents.

The Mother Superior of the Francisca Missionaries of Mary in Ghana Sister Sebastiana Berchene speaking to Bole based Nkilgi FM said she was in Bole with Sister Immaculate Yisiere and Sister Hellinka Nallypa to donate the PPEs on behalf of the congregation to support the Health Centre in their effort of curbing the global pandemic- COVID-19.

Sister Sebastiana Berchene said what they have given is not much but it will help workers of the clinic to do their work without much fears.

She entreated workers of the Health Centre not to relax in the fight of this pandemic.

The In charge of the Martyrs of Uganda Catholic Church Health Centre Mr Francis Suuta said they appreciate and were overwhelmed with the donation, adding that the items arrived in good time because they were short of the PPE’s.

He prayed for God blessing for the Congregation of the Franciscan Missionary of Mary.
