The New Patriotic Party (NPP) Chairman for the Savannah Region Alhaji Sulemana Iddrisu a.k.a Professor Kalamonia has donated 100 quantities of Veronica  buckets to the seven (7) constituencies of the region on Monday 30th March, 2020.

Each Constituency is expected to take delivery of ten (10) of the buckets including the stands, boxes of soap and tissues.
Professor Kalamonia in Damongo made it clear that he is donating the Damongo consignment on behalf of the NPP Parliamentary candidate Lawyer Sammy Jinapor.

Ten (10) of the buckets were given to the Savanah Regional Cordinating Council on his own behalf whilst twenty (20) of the buckets were later presented to the NPP Constituency executves.

Proff. Kalamonia later authorised the executives to place the Veronica buckets at various vantage points such as the Damongo Market, Ambulance Service Station, Fire Service Station, Ghana Police Service Station and others.

He asked for continues avoidance of the disease through preventive measures  since Corvid-19 still has no cure.

The Damongo constituency organiser of the NPP Mr Jajah Abu Seidu thanked Professor Kalamonia and Mr Jinapor for the kind gesture and used the opportunity to brief the Savannah Regional chairman about how the distribution of previous items were done including recent distribution of hand sanitisers and continued to ask for more support from sons of the region to help curb the deadly Corvid-19 in the region.

Professor Kalamonia later presented to the Bole-Bamboi Constituency, Sawla-Tuna- Kalba Constituencies.

In Bole, Professor Kalamonia authorized the Constituency Secretary to present one of the buckets to Bole based Nkilgi FM as his personal donation to the station.
