The Minister of the Savannah Region Hon Adam Braimah Salifu has yesterday settled the bills of a teenage boy called Alhassan Fuseni to enable a surgery be done on him.

An unidentified person unprofessionally fired into the crowd during the celebration of fire festival at Salaga in the East Gonja Municipal where the Minister happens to be the Member of Parliament (MP) injuring 15 year old Alhassan Fuseni.

The victim was rushed to the Salaga hospital and was subsequently referred to Tamale teaching hospital where he is currently receiving medication, and as well responding to treatment.

The Savannah Regional Minister and MP for Salaga South was at the hospital on Wednesday 11th September 2019 to check on the health of innocent Alhassan and after a short meeting with the Doctors provided an undisclosed amount required for the bone surgery of the teenager.

The Doctors said an urgent approach would be appropriate or Alhassan will face the risk of getting his arm amputated.

Hon. Salifu Adam Braimah, returned to Tamale Teaching Hospital yesterday Thursday to ensure that surgery on Alhassan Fuseni starts as soon as possible.

The parents of Alhassan Fuseni have thanked the minister for the kind gesture.
